Cody, Wyoming class reunions

Cody, Wyoming for our Class Reunions

Laurie had been hearing on Facebook about her 40th reunion since around early spring as they were talking of having most of it at Cassie’s, a popular boot scooting dance/dinner place owned by Steve Singer, a classmate of Laurie’s.  They said it was also for ALL Cody graduating classes to attend the festivities on Saturday night.  In that same time period I got an e-mail that my 45th year reunion was at Art Highland’s place up the South Fork.  We decide to fly in for the long 4th of July weekend and try to visit everyone.

I spent all of the weekend at Laurie’s reunion.  I saw a few of my class at Cassie’s on Sat night.  Some of my brothers and sister, along with their spouses were there too.  We listened to bands from classmates and enjoyed fireworks, when the sun went down.  The cool temperatures had us ducking for cover inside.  Listening to West reunited was a real treat.

Cassie’s had a Sunday brunch where I had steak and eggs that were excellent.  Laurie had a seafood omelet, which she claimed was tasty too.

Taking a late flight home, we were back by midnight and very tired.  But wonderful memories were dancing in our dreams.
